JuSplit

Cookie Policy

Version 1.2

Effective from 27 ottobre 2026

1. Who operates the website

The JuSplit website is operated by WARE SRL, registered office at Via Provinciale 82, 24021 Albino (BG), Italia, Italian VAT number IT-04876650161, PEC (certified email) dmware@pec.it. For questions about the use of cookies and other identifiers you can write to privacy@jusplit.com.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small files or identifiers that a website can store in the browser and read back on later visits. They can be necessary for authentication and security, or used, subject to consent where required, for statistics, non-essential personalisation, or advertising. Technologies other than cookies can perform similar functions and are subject to the same rules when they access information on the device.

3. Cookie used by JuSplit

Name Provider Purpose Duration
jusplit_session JuSplit, first party Keeping the session, authenticating the user, protecting forms from unlawful requests, and temporarily storing messages and preferences needed for navigation (e.g. the chosen language and theme). Browser session

This cookie is strictly necessary to provide the requested service and is not used to track the user across different websites. It is configured with the HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax attributes and, when the site is accessed over HTTPS, with the Secure attribute. Prior consent is not required for technical cookies, but the user must still be informed.

4. Theme and language preference

The choice between light, dark or system theme, and the website language (Italian or English), are saved on the user's account and made available in the current session. JuSplit does not create separate cookies for these preferences on the public application.

5. Google services

The pages currently load fonts via Google Fonts. The browser therefore establishes a connection to Google's domains and shares technical data such as IP address, user agent, referring page and time of the request. JuSplit does not use Google Fonts for profiling and does not receive a browsing profile from Google.

If the user chooses “Continue with Google”, they are redirected to the Google OAuth service. In that context Google may read or set cookies under its own domain according to the Google account's preferences and its own policy. These cookies are not set by JuSplit, and using Google OAuth is optional.

For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Payments with Stripe

If the user chooses to subscribe to JuSplit Plus, they are redirected to the payment page hosted by Stripe (checkout.stripe.com) and, to manage the subscription, to Stripe's customer portal (billing.stripe.com). On these domains Stripe may set or read its own cookies and identifiers, for example for security, fraud prevention, and payment processing, under its own policy (Stripe's Cookie Policy). These cookies are not set by JuSplit and only come into play if the user chooses to pay.

7. No analytics or advertising cookies

As of the date shown at the top of this page, JuSplit does not use third-party web analytics services, statistics or advertising cookies, social network pixels, or profiling identifiers. To understand how the site is used it only records its own statistics, without cookies and without storing the IP address: page viewed, date and time, referring site, device type, language, country, and a random non-reversible identifier that changes every day and does not allow a person to be recognised from one day to the next. Visitors who enable «Do Not Track» or Global Privacy Control are not recorded. For this reason, no consent banner is shown: a banner offering choices about tracking that does not exist would be misleading.

Before introducing tools that are not strictly necessary, JuSplit will update this policy, block such tools until the user makes a choice, and, where required, show a panel allowing the user to accept or reject with equal ease and to change the choice later.

8. How to manage cookies from your browser

The user can delete or block cookies through their browser settings. Blocking jusplit_session prevents login and may break forms, security and other essential parts of the service. Instructions depend on the browser and are available on its own support pages.

9. Updates

This policy is updated whenever cookies, technologies, providers or purposes change. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page. For information on the processing of personal data and the rights of the data subject, see the Privacy Policy.
